Using Web3Notifs to advance the CLR.fund Funding Protocol
--
The Ethereum Ecosystem has always been strong because of the community’s love and support. With the introduction of creative grant protocols, this encouragement was turned into funding for fantastic and outstanding projects.
The need for platforms to encourage participation in public goods and provide much-needed inspiration, exposure, and performance has never been more apparent. CLR Fund is another example of industry creativity, as seen in EthDenver 2021 and how voting was linked to funding.
EPNS are thrilled to announce the collaboration with the CLR Fund team to allow insightful funding updates for both funders and grantees. EPNS would not only be able to contribute to the decentralized vision, but also gain knowledge of the EPNS protocol’s feature requirements. This will aid us in shaping the V1 protocol to be flexible enough to accommodate a variety of features, as a communication middleware should.
EPNS anticipate the following outcomes from this pilot program with the CLR.fund team:
Enable the CLR framework to create a new communication layer that allows users to receive decentralized alerts about events such as
- When a round has started or finalized
- When a contributions is received
- When funds are claimed
- When a tally is published
- Working with the CLR.fund team to enable technical brainstorming towards improving the EPNS protocol to become more scalable and powerful

About Ethereum Push Notification Service
