These auditing and testing procedures are a prelude to the EasyFi protocol’s complete reinstatement. The community will recall that EasyFi worked with Halborn Security as EasyFi Network’s official auditor and security advisor.

Objectives of the Audit

The goal of this audit was to accomplish the following objectives:

  1. Make sure EasyFi Staking modules’ smart contract functions are working properly.
  2. Identify possible smart contract security vulnerabilities in respect to external threats such economic attacks, oracle attacks, and inter-contract functions.
  3. Validate the extended safety and accuracy of the contract set as a whole.
  4. Provide a comprehensive study and report on the audit and testing that was performed.
  5. Based on the individual contract and overall findings, make suggestions for corrective and risk reduction activities.

EasyFi started with a detailed audit and study of the smart contracts implemented on the Staking and Farming module, including the Dual Farming and Liquidity Farming sub-modules, in the early stages of the protocol-wide contract audit.

This audit included a comprehensive examination of the code and data structures, development quality standards implemented by EasyFi, and testing of the staking and farming smart contracts for vulnerabilities and errors.

Halborn developed a plan for the full audit based on security best practices for this industry and established procedures for a risk-scale based examination of any vulnerability and the impact it could have during the execution of those contracts.

Halborn used a combination of manual and automated security testing, as well as some of the industry’s best security solutions.

The completion of the staking contract audits is a step in the right way toward restoring the EasyFi protocol in its entirety. Please be aware that a series of ongoing audits and tests will be conducted to guarantee that EasyFi protocol and users funds are secure.
