Altair Kusama Crowdloan will be supported by Bifrost using the SALP Protocol

Bifrost is happy to announce that it would assist Altair (Centrifuge) in the second round of Kusama slot auctions via the SALP protocol, freeing the bonded liquidity of its donors.

Tinlake, Centrifuge’s initial product, has been active on Ethereum for almost a year and has gathered over 30 million TVL for its real-world asset investment pools. External assets, like Bifrost, will be a source of considerable liquidity for the Polkadot & Kusama ecosystem. Bifrost wants to grow the derivative market by linking with real-world assets and tapping on the DeFi ecosystem’s enormous liquidity.

Altair is Centrifuge’s canary network, and it is one of the strongest contenders in the second round of Kusama slot auctions. Bifrost wants to enhance Altair’s parachain auction in order to promote the collaboration. All Altair contributors who use the SALP protocol will be allowed to participate in the vsKSM derivative mining and get the Bifrost native token (BNC) as a reward. When Altair wins the auction, the vsKSM will be easily swappable between KSM and other assets, and donors will get AIR as a Crowdloan incentive.
